**You as a Payroll Team Lead will**:
Assist with all day-to-day aspects of the Payroll Department.
Assist with running and overseeing time tracking, payroll, and benefits for 5,000+ salaried and hourly employees, including significant unionized populations in construction and healthcare.
Manage complex payroll for diverse populations, with multiple systems and pay cycles / schedules, and in most Canadian provinces (including Quebec).
Oversee payroll and benefits department staff members.
Prepare statutory reporting and remittances.
Complete periodic and year-end income tax reporting processes and remittances.
Review monthly union reporting and related payments.
Perform payroll accounting functions, reconciliations, and reporting.
Respond to inquiries from employees and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Work in a hands-on role, with significant individual preparation as well as review and oversight over the work of others.

Is this the right role for you?

You have 5+ years of progressive payroll experience in a unionized environment.
You have experience in a similar role.
You are able to read and interpret collective bargaining agreements and determine related payroll requirements.
You are familiar with payroll legislative requirements in all or most Canadian provinces, including Quebec.
You are able to learn and adapt quickly in an unfamiliar environment and are able to work with mínimal supervision.
You are detail oriented and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
You are able to work at the office located in London, ON
