**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and track shipments effectively.
- Coordinate with suppliers and clients to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize freight movement.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of shipments and deliveries.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while communicating with drivers, vendors, and customers.
- Operate multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Utilize software designed for tracking shipments and managing inventory.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in dispatching or a related field within the transportation industry is preferred.
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate data and make informed decisions regarding logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficient typing skills for efficient data entry tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
