**Equity Research Associate**
- 2204496

**Job Summary**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work with analysts to conduct thorough analysis of the industries and targeted companies; and
- Participate in due diligence requirements including interfacing with corporate executives, conducting site visits, analyzing industry and company data, developing and maintaining financial models, writing research, and verbal presentations to equity sales/trading personnel and institutional clients.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

**Knowledge of**
- Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry; and
- Accounting and financial analysis principles.

**Skill in**
- Financial modelling; and

**Ability to**
- Work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail;
- Quickly grasp new concepts;
- Work long hours when necessary to meet time-sensitive deadlines;
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
- Demonstrate a professional manner to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization; and
- Communicate proficiently in French is an asset.

**Educational/Previous Experience Requirements**
- An undergraduate/postgraduate degree, preferably in Business, Economics, or Engineering.

**Licenses/Certifications**
- Completion of or willingness to work toward the CFA designation.
