Equity Research Associate The Equity Capital Markets division, a team of analysts covering approximately 250 companies, has a solid commitment to investment research, investment banking, and institutional sales and trading. Associates play a critical role assisting in all tasks required for the Equity Research Analyst to stay abreast of market events with the end‑goal of providing sound investment judgement on particular stocks to clients. Individuals in this role are continuously learning and developing their investment analysis and securities evaluation skills in a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has exemplary writing skills and is an excellent communicator. Responsibilities Work with analysts to conduct thorough analysis of industries and targeted companies. Participate in due diligence requirements including interfacing with corporate executives, conducting site visits, analyzing industry and company data, developing and maintaining financial models, writing research, and delivering verbal presentations to equity sales/trading personnel and institutional clients. What do we expect from you? Previous experience in accounting and financial analysis principles including financial modelling. Competent in financial modelling. The ability to work within deadlines in a high‑volume and demanding environment while maintaining an imperative attention to detail. Employ good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize. Work long hours when necessary to meet time‑sensitive deadlines. Work with an outgoing personality that will fit into a high‑performing, team‑oriented environment. Educational/Previous Experience Requirements An undergraduate/postgraduate degree, preferably in Business, Economics, or Accounting.
