Côté Gold is being developed in partnership with the Mattagami First Nation, Flying Post First Nation and Métis Nation of Ontario, Region 3.

The open-pit gold mine is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. and is operated by IAMGOLD. We are located near Gogama, Ontario, with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections with our local communities.

**Study Lead, Cote Gold Expansion**

**Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties**:
**Area 1**:
Discipline Coordination
- Ensure alignment between all disciplines during the execution of the study.
- Provide support to the Study Manager for the coordination and management of various consultants on the study.
- Work in close collaboration with other departments of the Côté operations and relevant corporate functions.
- Support multi-disciplinary teams (internal stakeholders, suppliers, sub-contractors) under strict deadlines to deliver reliable and economic long term development plans and design.
- Appreciate the interaction of long term mine development with Geology, Mining, Metallurgy and Economics.

**Area 2**:
Study Management Support
- Support the study manager and the study cost controller for the administrative management of the study.
- Support the preparation of the NI 43-101 Technical Report, while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and guidelines.
- Support the execution of the study using industry best practice programs.
- Support the preparation of presentation materials in line with corporate study guidelines.

**Area 3**:
Regulatory Compliance and Sustainability
- Work in conjunction with other departments such as Sustainability, Community and Investor Relations and Operations to ensure all work is performed in compliance with various regulatory compliance.

- Follow operating procedures and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

**Qualifications & Skill Requirements**

Minimum Qualifications, Formal Education, Certifications or Equivalents
- Bachelor degree in mining engineering from a recognized institution;
- Must be part of a recognized professional association (PEO).

**Work Experience - Nature & Length**
- 8-12 years of related experience with at least 5 years managing a mineral development program.

**Additional Qualifications - Competency Requirements**
- Ability to build positive relationships and maintain effective networks in a cross-cultural environment with internal and external stakeholders, industry associations and Indigenous communities.
- Open pit mine development expertise.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in study management, with a thorough knowledge and understanding of project planning and control methods, techniques and tools to effectively manage mineral exploration and development projects.
- Proven experience in policy and program development, program planning, analysis and evaluation.
- Knowledge of indigenous communities and indigenous issues related to the mineral industry.
- Excellent understanding of resource estimation methods.
- Excellent communication, training and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent time management and organizational skills.
