Job Summary Gold Leaf’s Salesforce Software Engineer will be responsible for managing, customizing, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to support sales and customer service operations across all divisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration, configuration, data management, and reporting, along with exceptional communication and project management skills. This role is integral to Gold Leaf’s continued expansion and scalability initiatives, ensuring that our systems evolve alongside our growing business needs. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Development & Customization Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications to meet the needs of all company divisions. Work with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL to build and optimize Salesforce functionality. Develop and enhance custom objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and reports based on business requirements. Implement and refine automation workflows, including Flows, Aura Components, and Approval Processes, to streamline operations. Contribute to Salesforce UI/UX improvements, ensuring an intuitive, user-friendly experience for end users. Develop and deploy custom Lightning components and applications to enhance productivity and collaboration. Automate repetitive processes through the use of AI-powered tools, improving efficiency and scalability. System Integrations & API Development Support integration of Salesforce with internal systems and third-party platforms using REST/SOAP APIs. Collaborate with IT and external development teams to ensure seamless data synchronization across business applications. Troubleshoot and resolve API errors, data sync challenges, and system performance issues. Provide architectural guidance and documentation when collaborating with outsourced teams on ERP and mobile app development. Work with external data sources to streamline automation and enhance reporting accuracy. Data Management & Reporting Maintain data integrity through regular monitoring, cleansing, deduplication, and validation processes. Support data migration efforts, ensuring accuracy during transitions between systems or Salesforce environments. Create and manage dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to improve business insights and decision-making. Develop and enhance predictive and analytical tools that drive innovation across departments. Monitor Salesforce system performance, recommending optimizations for scalability and efficiency. User Support, Security & Training Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure proper adoption across departments. Manage user permissions, roles, and security settings in compliance with company policies and best practices. Ensure all configurations align with data privacy and security standards. Assist in system testing, debugging, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new releases and updates. Document all troubleshooting steps, configurations, and development changes for reference and continuity. Collaboration, Research & Continuous Improvement Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and senior developers to align Salesforce solutions with business goals. Conduct research and development initiatives to identify new opportunities for automation and process improvement. Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, implementing relevant enhancements to optimize performance. Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and technical discussions to foster collaboration and shared learning. Leverage AI integrations to enhance efficiency, automation, and strategic decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience in Salesforce administration, configuration, data management, and reporting. Proficiency in Salesforce development tools including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Comprehensive understanding of sales and customer service operations. Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and consistency. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related technical issues efficiently. Experience in developing workflows, triggers, validation rules, and automation scripts. Familiarity with Salesforce integrations and third-party connectors. Salesforce certifications such as Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder preferred.
