We are currently hiring for a Parts Coordinator at our Simplicity Car Care Markham location who has an interest in the automotive industry and/or inventory management. The Parts Coordinator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to manage the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Accurately identify and order all parts necessary to complete repairs in shop
- Receive all parts delivered—confirming the quality, correctness and quantity of parts received
- Enter all parts into the recommended Management Information System (MIS)
- Label all parts by the R.O.# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs
- Properly return parts for credit to the appropriate supplier
- Manage all part credits and ensure they are received within 24 hours
- Manage vendor agreements when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized parts area
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Effectively manage a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multitasking ability
- Customer Service Oriented and strong organizational skills
- Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 50lbs of materials

**Required Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or Professional Certification
- Valid ‘G’ Class Driver’s license
- I CAR training/ certification is an asset

**Required Knowledge and Skills**
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Pride of workmanship and balanced approach to decision making (company, client & employee interests)
- Knowledge of Summit Management System is an asset
- Ability to deal with difficult customer situations and maintain composure under pressure
- Strong negotiation skills
- Customer focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate and lead a team by example
- Self-starter and action oriented
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks and plan work efficiently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

- 9 hour shift includes 2 15 mins breaks and 30 mins Lunch

**Experience**:

- Automotive Body Repair & Refinishing Occupations: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
