The purpose of this role is to manage the distribution and prioritization of daily work assignments for multiple teams within SLFD Underwriting and New Business, and escalate work that falls outside the expected delivery target.

The Student, Distribution Analyst will be reporting to the Manager, Business Initiatives. This position works in close collaboration with SLFD New Business and Underwriting leaders in Canada and India, and plays a key role in the support of workload management by overseeing and reporting on the flow of work, and recommending improvements within the team.

**What will you do?**
- Manage the distribution and prioritization of daily work assignments for multiple teams, and escalate work that falls outside the expected delivery target.
- Work with Operational Leaders to track, analyze and report errors, escalations and work that is not being completed by assigned CSRs at a leading and lagging level.
- Facilitate regular touchpoints to review performance and quality with the leadership team - Maintain visual board, document actions and check-in on outcomes.
- Review and report operational data at an aggregate level and highlight areas that require additional attention.
- Distribute and review urgent requests received through team inboxes.
- Adhoc analysis and support on an as needed basis for the Directors of SLFD Underwriting and SLFD New Business.

- Curiosity and critical thinking skills
- Excellent relationship management skills to interact with internal business partners at various levels
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills using Excel and/or Tableau to turn data into meaningful information
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills with experience working within tight deadlines
- Takes initiative with a strong attention to detail
- Results oriented with a bias for action
- Excellent communicator (both verbal and written) with strong presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and positive, can-do attitude
- Strong business knowledge of Sun Life (specifically Underwriting & New Business) is an asset
- Aptitude and comfort level with technology is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Access, Powerpoint is an asset
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
