Candace Plotz Design is a high-end residential interior design firm seeking a dedicated, motivated and hard working individual to assist with the management of our office, projects and day-to-day operations.

Position Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day office procedures
- Product quoting & management; ordering products, maintaining order spreadsheets, following up with suppliers, coordinating deliveries
- Coordinate communications between team
- Maintain schedules
- Organize and run weekly meetings
- Client relationship administration; assess incoming client requests, retain memberships and accounts and greeting clients at office
- Oversee and assist our bookkeeper with monthly invoice creation and distribution
- Establish and maintain a business development database (CRM)
- Assure existing clients are properly served and stay satisfied and positive
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and principal
- Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
- Prepare monthly reports
- Maintain company website and work closely with outside consultants as required
- Ensure office supplies are adequately stocked and handle property needs
- Accept, inspect and organize deliveries

Required Qualifications:

- Mature, pleasant and professional in manner and appearance
- Have strong work ethic
- Goal oriented & efficient
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to delegate and supervise with results
- Highly organized self-starter with strong time management skills
- Fast learner and problem solver
- Demonstrate a history of attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Flexible and resourceful
- Excellent oral and written communication and skills; perfectly fluent in English
- Proficient in Google Workspace, including google drive, docs, sheets, slides, and calendar
- Personal vehicle with valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift products and samples up to 40 lbs

The Operations Manager role is an in-office, part time position at Candace Plotz Design’s office location in Renfrew, Ontario and may require occasional travel.

Initial compensation is dependent on the employee's existing experience and expertise - with opportunities to increase annually.
