**We are looking for a Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator on a full-time basis for our hi-rise projects in Greater Toronto Area.**

Sibwest Inc. is a reliable and knowledgeable formwork contractor with proven industry expertise. We specialize in formwork and reinforced concrete solutions offering our services to a wide range of building sectors including commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Covering all parts of Southern Ontario, Sibwest delivers an innovative approach using a range of traditional and modern formwork systems.

**Basic Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Research key suppliers for construction materials/assets and services; construction equipment, spare parts and tools.
- Prequalify vendors and subcontractors, research potential supplier’ company background, projects completed, years of experience, reference check, key contacts
- Organize the delivery/return of rental/purchased goods on/off site
- Control stock material and coordinate required goods with workers on site in timely manner.
- Negotiate and propose contracts, terms and conditions with suppliers (coordinate between company legal and project management team)
- Identify and select vendors to purchase requisitioned consumables, while meeting criteria such as specification, price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery date. Clear understanding of “Best Value”
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of procurement systems, including system documentation and roll-out
- Support and participate in district and corporate cross-functional project teams
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and purchase orders, prepare reports
- Review inventory records daily and notify of supplies levels immediately to ensure proper stock rotation
- Oversee and manage all scheduling-related issues (including last-minute changes) to minimize delays

**Qualifications**:

- Drivers license
- Familiarity with construction material and construction practices is a huge asset
- Ability to lift goods up to 70 lbs
- Prior logistics experience is an asset
