**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately and report any changes in health status to the nursing staff.
- Support individuals with disabilities in their daily routines and activities.
- Engage patients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home or hospice care is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is an asset.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and transferring patients safely.
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent training is a plus but not mandatory.
