We are looking for a dedicated **Project Manager** to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.

**STATEMENT OF THE JOB**:
The Program Manager will collaborate with members of management and Lead Hands to identify, secure, and onboard resources for new programs. This employee will track the progress of projects and hold others accountable for assigned tasks. The Program Manager will coordinate internal APQP and external program meetings while monitoring and following up with projects. This position promotes product development and continuous support of new and existing programs.

**DUTIES OF THE JOB**:

- Work with Management & Team Leads to identify, secure, and onboard resources for new programs
- Track progress against project milestones and holding others accountable for assigned tasks
- Coordinate internal APQP and external program meetings while also tracking and following-up with action items
- To provide product development of new and existing programs.
- Give continuous support on current programs.

**RESPONSIBILITY**:

- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new Customer programs.
- Constant liaison between customer and supplier of tooling.
- Identify barriers to successful program execution and escalate as appropriate
- Complete & submit PPAP for all new programs and engineering changes.
- Develop & maintain core documents for each program (PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans, Customer drawings)
- Manage prototype requests (from building of parts to PPAP and delivery).
- Initiate and manage engineering changes.
- Conduct process & LPA audits as required.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting (in conjunction with tool room).
- Drawing control.
- Work in compliance with the IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 programs.
- Work well under time restrictions.

- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with Omex Mfg. code of business conduct.

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project Management role
- College or University degree in engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Organizational, communication and computer skills (MS Office, MS Project)
- Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of PFMEA
- SolidWorks
- Minitab - SPC statistical analysis
- Self-starter.
- Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001 program
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices (such as micrometers/calipers).
- Experience with Ford eAPQP (Covisint) preferred.

**WHAT WE OFFER**:

- Salary $70,000 to $90,000 - based on experience

**General hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.**

Business conditions may require flexible hours, overtime and scheduled overtime.
