**Job Summary**:
The Customer Experience Specialist is a vital part of the sales team, representing BC Greenhouse Builders and serving as the primary point of contact. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales floor, where the specialist manages phone communications and directs inquiries. The primary objective is to represent the company with professionalism and warmth, delivering outstanding customer service and nurturing leads until they are ready to be handed off to our Greenhouse Experts.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Phone Management and Call Direction**:
- Ability to maintain a clear understanding of the sales teams’ day-to-day activities to answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and inquiries to the appropriate departments or individuals effectively.
- Arrange meetings and calls for sales experts, ensuring their calendars are organized and all appointments are efficiently scheduled.
- Extend a professional and courteous welcome to all callers and walk-in customers.
- Record messages with precision and ensure their timely delivery.
**Incoming Inquiry Management**:
- Handles incoming leads, ensuring timely responses and thorough follow ups.
- Qualifying inquiries by providing relevant product knowledge and guiding potential customers through the initial stages of engagement to prepare them for deeper conversations with Greenhouse Experts.
- Assist in preparing sales quotes for potential clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Optimizing lead conversion and enhancing overall customer experience is the objective.
**General Customer Service & Sales Support**:
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems effectively, ensuring a positive experience. Escalate complex issues to higher levels of support as needed.
- Assist in the management and ordering of product shipment crates as required.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, including follow-ups and personalized service.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback for future reference and quality assurance
**Essential Job Requirements**:
- **Experience**: Proven experience in customer service roles, demonstrating strong skills in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
- **Organizational and Multitasking Skills**: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced sales office simultaneously and prioritize them effectively.
- **Outstanding Communication Skills**: Exceptional ability to convey information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Skilled at actively listening, ensuring understanding of customer needs and responding with appropriate and concise information.
- Capable of adapting communication style to suit diverse audiences to foster positive interactions and build strong relationships with customers.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Demonstrated aptitude for resolving challenges that may arise during quote preparation or customer interactions.
- **Professional and Friendly Demeanor**: Ability to connect with customers, reflecting their needs and maintaining a professional attitude.
- **Independent and Collaborative Work Style**: Capable of working independently while also fostering a collaborative environment with the sales team and other departments.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
