At The Briton House we have created a remarkable and historic retirement centre. The Briton House has had the tradition of caring for people since 1976. We offer a wide variety of activities, large suites and the ability to enjoy a magnificent indoor garden all year round. Our facility also includes a splendid recital hall, a glass domed swimming pool, an exercise area and an attractive dining lounge. In addition to offering care services in our independent living suites we also have three assisted living floors. **Requirements**:

- Must have experience with janitorial duties
- Basic tool knowledge. Must be able to perform minor repairs to resident’s suites and building exterior/interior.
- Valid Driver’s License is an asset.
- Clear communication skills, reading and writing English required.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to be patient dealing with residents.
- Detail oriented and someone that takes initiative and performs tasks before being asked.
- Reliable/ punctual.
- Capable of heavy lifting (food/bed moving/garbage/carpet/snow shoveling).

**Duties**:

- Storing delivers.
- Setting up tables and moving small furniture items as required.
- Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
- Carpet spot cleaning.
- Delivering and assisting residents as need.

Schedule:
Saturday -Sunday (9AM - 5PM)

Other day as required to cover shifts
