We are a growing Dental Practice in Cambridge Ontario looking for an enthusiastic and friendly professional to join our clinical team. Our knowledgeable and caring support team is dedicated to providing patients with gentle and personalized care. As a Dental Assistant on our team you will play a vital role in providing quality dental treatment to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Assist with lab tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models
- Educate patients on proper oral care techniques
**Requirements**:
- Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the Ontario Dental Assisting Association
- Certified with the National Dental Assistant Examining Board (N.D.A.E.B)
- HARP/CPR Certified.
- IPAC certified is an asset but not required.
- WHIMS certified is an asset but not require
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
- Maintain ethical professional behaviour

**Experience**:
- Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
