We are a growing Dental Practice in Cambridge Ontario looking for an enthusiastic and friendly professional to join our clinical team. As a Dental Assistant on our team you will play a vital role in providing quality dental treatment to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Assist with lab tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models
- Educate patients on proper oral care techniques

**Requirements**:

- Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the Ontario Dental Assisting Association
- Certified with the National Dental Assistant Examining Board (N.D.A.E.B)
- HARP/CPR Certified.
- IPAC certified is an asset but not required.
- WHIMS certified is an asset but not require
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
- Maintain ethical professional behaviour

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified Dental Assistant (required)
