IMAX® Victoria delivers educational and entertaining experiences that accompany the learning journey the museum offers. - The Royal BC Museum is located on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen peoples, known today as the Songhees and Xwsepsum Nations. - **Job Overview** - The Facilities Coordinator provides daily facilities maintenance and operations support to all buildings and property owned or leased by RBCM, including managing facilities contractors (e.g., construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, janitorial, fire/life safety) as required. This position is directly responsible for telecommunications, wireless, and vehicle maintenance; liaison with preventive maintenance contractors, landscaping contractors, recycling, cleaners, engineers, consultants; and office equipment purchase, maintenance and repair for RBCM. - This position is required to travel as necessary to meet operational requirements for the Royal BC Museum downtown Victoria location, PARC Campus Colwood location, and related facilities (e.g., warehouse locations), and have a valid BC driver’s licence or equivalent. - Knowledge of building construction and services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety systems) standards, BC Fire Code Regulations, and worker safety and hazardous material regulations; as well as experience using CMMS software and commissioning a new building will be significant assets in this role. - **An eligibility list may be established for future temporary (which may include supporting project focused work) and/or permanent vacancies**. - **How to Apply**: - **Additional Information**: - This position requires a Criminal Records Check under the BC Public Service Screening Policy and the Criminal Records Review Act.
