We are looking for a high energy, customer obsessed front office assistant to work at our reception desk area. This role is in a fast-paced retail environment therefore the ability to multi-task is essential.

To ensure success in this role you should possess experience in office administration and a passion to work with the public.

**Front Office Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Operation of a multi-line telephone system
- Welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handling of customer inquiries.
- Daily recording and balancing of cash and credit cards
- Copying, scanning, and filing documents.
- Office supply management
- Maintaining a presentable workspace
- Performing other administrative tasks, if required.
- Provide administrative support to Decorator Consultants

**Front Office Assistant Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a retail environment, office administration and customer service.
- Exceptional ability to create a welcoming environment.
- Ability to observe business etiquette and maintain a professional appearance.
- Working knowledge of printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be available for evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule
- Position is not suitable for a student - shifts are days/evenings/weekends
- Hours per week between 20-30

**Compensation**:
Hourly Rate based on level of experience

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
