**Operations Specialist**

**Overview**

As Operations Specialist, you are tenacious and solution oriented and play a key role in the future success of our fast-growing company.

Supporting our Director of Purchasing, you will play a key role in sourcing new items for our assortment and you will assist in managing inventory and replenishment of our existing items and components. You will also be responsible for executing our overall logistics strategy and managing relationships with our shipping partners, while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure flawless delivery to our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead sourcing of new components and items for our Packaging and Purchased Goods categories.
- Manage inventory levels and replenishment of all Purchased Goods and Packaging.
- Act as key contact for our carriers, fostering strategic relationships to optimize the customer experience while also monitoring day-to-day account activity for cost and billing accuracy.
- Coordinate receiving processes, ensuring goods are thoroughly inspected upon receipt and delivered into the correct storage locations.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to identify and resolve delays with packages.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Work experience and/or post secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and excellent organizational skills to manage time, multiple tasks, and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent research and analytical skills. Ability to identify problems, investigate issues and discrepancies and prepare recommendations for leadership.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience in the jewelry industry is an asset.
- Experience with brokerage or shipping carriers is an asset.
