**Position Available**: Demand Planning Analyst / Supply Planner
**Location**: Vancouver, British Columbia (Hybrid)
**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive **Demand Planning Analyst / Supply Planner** to take full ownership of our inventory pipeline and product availability. Reporting to the **Director, FP&A and Planning**, you will play a critical role in driving product performance, optimizing inventory levels, executing purchasing strategies, and enhancing operational efficiency.
This role bridges strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring products are thoughtfully sourced, effectively allocated, and perfectly positioned to meet customer demand while supporting overall business growth. **What You’ll Do**:
- Own the overall health of the inventory pipeline, proactively identifying and addressing gaps to ensure seamless execution of operational goals.
- Build and maintain supply plans that align with business needs, ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory levels.
- Analyze historical data, trends, and KPIs to inform demand forecasts and purchasing strategies.
- Accurately prepare and execute purchase orders on a weekly basis while maintaining strong, professional relationships with suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics, to align with operational priorities and ensure a smooth end-to-end process.
- Provide insights into product demand, inventory management, and financial performance to support business growth.
- Monitor supply chain processes, analyze risks, and recommend actionable solutions to meet departmental goals.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements that enhance planning accuracy, reduce costs, and increase agility.
**What You’ll Need**:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Planner, Planning Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role (retail or e-commerce experience is a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience building models and working with large datasets.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for improving processes and driving results.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across teams to build trusted partnerships.
- Experience with supply chain systems, tools, and reporting processes is an asset.
