Duties
- Place, level, and finish concrete for projects including foundations, floors, sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and decorative work.
- Set up, form, and align concrete structures to project specifications.
- Install rebar, mesh, and other reinforcement to ensure structural strength.
- Conduct repair and restoration work, including crack injection, parging, and resurfacing.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements.
- Ensure proper curing methods are applied for long-term durability.
- Collaborate with crew members to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient job site.
- Train or guide junior laborers and apprentices as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum **3-5 years of proven experience** as a Concrete Finisher.
- Strong knowledge of concrete properties, curing times, and finishing techniques.
- Skilled in forming, leveling, and finishing with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, and layouts.
- Experience with exposed aggregate, stamped concrete, and decorative finishes is an asset.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend repair/restoration solutions.
- Physically fit with stamina for heavy lifting, bending, and working long hours outdoors.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards on every project.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
