**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with their inquiries in person or over the phone.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while managing the office calendar effectively.
- Maintain, file and upload accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure all patient information is up to date on computer.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
- Collaborate with physiotherapy and massage staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments.
- Address patient concerns promptly and professionally, providing solutions or escalating issues as necessary.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and insurance benefits as needed.
- knowledge of insurance billing, WCB and MVA billing.
- Cleaning beds and modalities after each patient use, laundry
- Maintain account Receivable and remittance in patient billing

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a physiotherapy, chiropractor, Massage, medical or dental office setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
