**Summary**

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at The Art of Nature Childcare. This role is essential in supporting our operations and ensuring a smooth administrative process. Located in Simcoe County, this position plays a vital part in enhancing our educational environment.

While this position will begin on a part time basis, there is an opportunity to move to fulltime hours in the future.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage daily administrative tasks to support the childcare operations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation for students and staff.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external partners.
- Coordinate schedules and manage appointments for educational activities.
- Support the implementation of nature-based educational programs through administrative assistance.
- Handle inquiries and provide information regarding our services and programs.

**Requirements**:
**MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE COLLEGE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS**
- Proven experience as an supervisory / administrative assistant in a licensed childcare centre.
- Familiar with CWELCC
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of special education practices
- Ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.86 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
