**Job Overview**: We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused, and experienced Pet Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing a small team of staff, and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory, driving sales, and creating a positive shopping experience for pet owners.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff management, and inventory control.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of pet store associates, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and maintain product knowledge.
- Oversee and manage inventory levels, restocking products as needed, and ensuring shelves are fully stocked.
- Build strong relationships with customers, answering questions, offering product recommendations, and addressing concerns.
- Ensure that all store policies and standards are consistently followed.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, working with the team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Train new employees on store operations, customer service, and product knowledge.
- Assist with product ordering and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment for both customers and staff.
- Find new and exciting products that fit the store mandate.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years experience in retail pet store management a must.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Knowledge and passion for pets and pet products is a must.
- Experience in inventory management, sales tracking, and budgeting.
- Work weekends and as needed.
- Knowledge of Lightspeed is and asset.

Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
