Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Store Cashier located in Toronto, ON. The Store Cashier will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling payments, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Additionally, the role involves managing cash registers, monitoring inventory near the register, and adhering to all store policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills to assist and interact with customers effectively
  • Proficiency in handling cash, operating cash registers, and processing various payment methods
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions and record-keeping
  • Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills in addressing customer concerns
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
