**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a Sanitation Coordinator based at our Sterling Road Factory. The Sanitation coordinator ensure implementation and execution of operational standards and strategies on issues relating to specific areas (e.g., sensory, food safety including food contact material, non-food items, chemical contaminants, hygiene, pest control, microbiology, foreign body, statistical process control, net content management, allergen management). The incumbent will also provide operational technical support, in design and continuous improvement activities, across different business and manufacturing processes in the above specific food safety areas.

As a Sanitation coordinator, you will:

- People and know-how:
- Promote quality awareness across the company.
- Contribute to competence development of quality professionals across the organisation.
- Train and coach on daily basis to employees in the factory around Nestle Quality Behaviours, Quality Digital tools, GMPs, Food Safety practices, and new topics toward the reduction and elimination of Quality incidents and consumer complaints.
- Assure Food Safety and Compliance- Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies as well as local laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance to food safety and regulatory requirements (national and international).
- Ensure cascade of emerging threats and trends on the specific food safety area and implementation of strategies to mitigate risks.
- Support problem solving and solution development during crisis management and response with regard to specific food safety areas.
- Lead the Internal Audit program of the factory and execute internal audits for the Factory Compliance/Audit Readiness (FSSC, ISO, NiA)
- Strive for Zero Defect & No Waste- Support the quality failures analysis and initiatives to eliminate the defects related to the specific quality and food safety areas.
- Promote sharing of best practices through NCMS as well as implementing the learnings to the factory from other markets.
- Liaise with other functions to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure Consistency- Ensure mitigation of food safety and quality issues through interaction with TAG, Production, Maintenance, Engineering; Corporate QM, etc.
- Support the correct utilization of R&D tools related to product safety and design (eg. shelf-life studies, challenge tests, and predictive tools).
- Ensure development of competencies in Quality- Promote food safety awareness across the factory.
- Develop food safety and quality training at factory level.
- Participate at Nestlé professional expert network in specific areas.
- Ensure development of people through coaching and training.
- Convey corporate culture and management principles at all levels.
- Foster a healthy employee relations climate.

**What will make you successful**:

- End to end management of inventory (including Stock taking and supply requests), while managing cost, to ensure right tools and product in all places.
- Follow-up with suppliers and approval cleaning products, escalate concerns with defective tools and highlight issues with materials etc.
- Coordinate with uniform contractor Uniform, vest, coats
- track and order all company uniforms for new and existing employees as needed, contractor and visitor uniforms
- Manage chemical cage - coordinate the collection and assembling of empty drums for disposal etc.
- Creation and management of Cleaning and Sanitation POs.
- Implement and sustain 5S in the sanitation area to keep it clean, tidy and organize, make obsolete equipment and tools no longer in use.
- Manage people - supervise audit activities of sanitation and contract cleaning teams
- Manage overtime of the team in Kronos.
- Ensure adequate supplies of Bonners and coordinate with production. Perform Audit Inspection, to check if bin is needed, exchange, pick-up, and arrange for pick-up as needed.
- Contact Waste Disposal Vendor (UPAK) as required to assist production with needs for Bonners, Bins etc.
- Floor Scrubber Management - Follow-up with productions department to ensure scrubbers are clean Organizing repairs with Tennant
