**What will you work on?**

The Intellectual Property Coordinator provides administrative support to the IP team.

**How will you create impact?**
- Specific IP tasks pertaining to trademarks, patents, copyrights and industrial designs, including liaising with IP associates globally.
- Responsible for the daily docketing of all trademarks and patent related correspondences received from trademark offices, foreign agents and outside counsel.
- Trademark Searches: conducting general knock-out searches, managing and facilitating the trademark searches for all Global Business Teams and maintaining internal tracking sheet.
- Legalization of Documents: managing the legalization requirements for all global IP matters, and Litigation matters, which may include the management and request for translation of documents.
- Updating the docketing system with trademark and patent deadlines and monitoring upcoming deadlines for all IP matters
- Monitor the general inboxes for trademarks and trademark searches for the team and flag any urgent requests.
- Maintaining our electronic patent prosecution files and electronic trademark files
- Management of Patent website with the Web Team; including tracking all issued patents, and designs registration numbers and territories and updating on a quarterly basis; including removing any expired patents and updating the Legal Packaging team of changes.
- Creation/management of sensitive correspondence, memos, presentations and other documentation
- Conducting research, and assembling and analyzing data for reports and documents
- File management including scanning, copying, saving documents and filing in paper and electronic form.
- Assisting on any special projects for the IP Team as assigned

**What are your skills and experience?**
- College diploma or equivalent legal administrative work experience and intellectual property experience
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, proficient in Outlook, Adobe, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and judgement, with a demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive or confidential matters with discretion and tact.
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Knowledge of intellectual property, litigation and general legal terminology an asset
