We are currently seeking a Talent & Engagement Coordinator who can be nice, will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey.

The Talent & Engagement Coordinator is a member of our HR team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent and Engagement. This role will assist with management of the recruitment function across the organization with a focus on ATS management, recruitment, and organization.
The Talent & Engagement Coordinator for Roots will be responsible for and evaluated on the following:

- Maintaining and managing HRIS/ATS system (Dayforce) including maintaining system documentation, being a power user, generating reports and training others to use the systems as needed
- Supporting the streamlining and elevating of the onboarding experience
- Developing and providing monthly analytics and reports
- Updating and maintaining accurate job descriptions and organizational charts
- Managing the peak season hiring process for the Distribution Center
- Providing administrative support to ATS front end users
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in an HR Recruitment role, preferably in a retail organization
- Expert knowledge of HRIS and recruitment systems
- Ability to set priorities and undertake multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal) as well as strong facilitation skills with a senior audience and ability to simply and concisely communicate complex information
- Strong customer service orientation
- Must be able to represent Roots in a positive manner both internally and externally
