**Position Overview**: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the accounts payable function. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, while providing exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Verify, code, process accounts payable invoices and match with receiving slips.
- Process multiple monthly payment runs.
- Maintain records for Return P.O.s and credit notes.
- Contact vendors regarding outstanding invoices and credit notes.
- Review and reconcile invoices and monthly statements.
- Allocate HQ costs to stores via intercompany journal entries.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment issues.
- Assist in month-end closing activities.
- Other Related duties

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in ERP accounting software.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to meet various monthly deadlines.
- Post-secondary education with a business diploma or degree is considered an asset

**Training and Compensation**:

- Training will be provided.
- Compensation commensurate with experience.
- Wage - $21.00 to $25.00 per hour

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position based in Calgary.
- Standard office hours with occasional overtime as required.
- Collaborative work environment.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
