**Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor**

**Supervises**:Housekeeper

**Job Summary**:

- Responsibilities include checking homes for quality of cleaning work, reporting deficiencies to maintenance teams, and accessing cleaning teams' performance and providing feedback.

**Job Duties**:

- Inspect every home after guest checkout to identify and fix issues missed by the cleaning team, in accordance with Upstay brand standards.
- If the home requires more than basic cleaning, you’ll liaise with the cleaning team to have the cleaners return to the home and correct their work.
- This role involves fixing issues identified in our homes, which will include a mix of basic cleaning, maintenance, and supply restocking work as required.
- Perform basic maintenance work, including changing light bulbs, batteries, and filters. If more than basic maintenance is required, liaise with the maintenance team for their assistance.
- Assess and grade the performance of the cleaning teams and provide feedback to the Housekeeping Manager regarding performance.
- Assist in carrying out delivery requests upon assignment
- Other duties as per requested.

**Leadership**:

- Conduct performance appraisals and give continuous feedback to the team, guiding them in their daily tasks, aligned with the Upstay’s culture and values.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Experience**: 1-2 years previous supervisory experience in housekeeping in a hotel or related industry.

**Other qualifications**: Familiarity with PMS system (Guesty, Breezeway preferred), Slack. Available to work flexible shifts: days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence. Fluent in both written and oral English.

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
