The Corporate HSE Manager is responsible for leading Alexander Willowridge’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Program across all divisions. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and client requirements while fostering a proactive safety culture. The HSE Manager plays a vital role in collaborating with division managers and field teams to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Responsibilities_
- Leading the development and execution of Alexander Willowridge’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Program, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations
- Conducting comprehensive safety audits and incident investigations to drive corrective actions effectively
- Assessing subcontractor safety programs and facilitating joint safety meetings to ensure alignment with Alexander Willowridge’s standards
- Overseeing all aspects of injury management, including incident reporting, Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) claims, and modified work programs, ensuring timely follow-up and adherence to regulatory standards
- Managing and maintaining safety registry platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, and ComplyWorks, while keeping HSE documentation well-organized and up-to-date
- Representing Alexander Willowridge in client and regulatory discussions regarding HSE compliance and ongoing safety improvements.
- Partnering with field teams to implement safety protocols
- Experience_
- NCSO designation as a minimum requirement
- 5 years' experience in safety program management, particularly in the civil construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills

- CSTS-09 or CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Class 5 Drivers License and clean abstract
