**The Role**:
We are looking to add Set-Up Technicians to our team

**Job Duties**:
**Setup**
- Start and shut down machines.
- Install new tools and established process parameters for part conformance. Set up robotics.
- Supply Q.C with test samples and data from new tools.
- Maintain accurate records of tests and results.
- Install approved tools in machines and runs test samples for internal and PPAP submissions.
- Maintain accurate start up and test records.
- Translate setup process parameters from one process controller to another: translate setup from EC88 to NC8300.
- Set monitors and set/program dryers.

**Process Control**
- Optimize processes based on cycles, part parameters, reduced variations, including mould guards.

**Other**
- Troubleshoot in process and quality problems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring compliance with company and provincial regulations.
- Assist lead operator in daily routine training.
- Comply with company policies and provincial regulations.
- Assist lead operators in daily routine training.

- Other tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- **MUST** have at least 1 year of set-up technician experience.
- High level of knowledge with regard to plastic moulding equipment and materials.
- WHMIS training.
- Lock out certification.
- Forklift certification.
- Overhead Crane training.

**The Shift**:

- Days
- Monday-Friday 6:55am-3:15pm.
- Afternoons
- Monday-Friday 2:55pm-11:15pm.
- Midnights
- Sunday-Thursday 10:55pm-7:15pm.
- Straight shifts, no rotation.
- OT weekend rotation required.
