Cowichan Woodwork Ltd. is located in the heart of Cobble Hill working in a newer building with a custom shop. Our shop has the latest CNC technology with two machines working simultaneously. Our shop has all the tools necessary at your disposal which you will use to finish producing client projects.

**YOU MATTER.**

**What your role as a flat pack furniture team member looks like**:

- Processing, sanding, and machine parts for flat pack furniture to be built by our clients.
- Packing and palletizing or crating the furniture to be shipped out across the world.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organized workspace.

**Qualifications and Skills that would be an asset**:

- Previous woodworking experience would be an asset, but not necessary.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and following directions thoroughly
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to be self-motivated
- Ability to solve issues as they arises

**Training opportunities provided**:

- Cabinetmaker Apprenticeship (HL) 2023, if commitment and performance criteria met.
- CNC operation and maintenance (Computer controlled woodworking machine).
- Edge Bander operation and maintenance.
- Woodworking equipment such as table saw, bandsaw, sanders, and router.
- Forklift certification.
- WHIMIS certification.
- First aid certification.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
