As a **Purchaser/Receiver** at **Creative Woodcraft**, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth procurement processes that support our custom cabinetry production. Your ability to build strong supplier relationships, manage inventory, and optimize costs will contribute to our reputation for excellence.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Purchase cabinetry materials using Cienapps & Cieblink (cabinetry-specific management software).
- Source vendors/suppliers and negotiate agreements to secure the best value.
- Manage inventory requirements to ensure production efficiency.
- Procure best value for the business in all goods, services, and transportation transactions.
- Monitor purchasing frequency and recommend strategies to improve efficiency.
- Select, negotiate, and maintain supplier relationships.
- Use procurement best practices to make informed buying decisions.
- Participate in the development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the department.
- Support the Sales Team as a resource for specialty products such as hardware and edge tape.
- Receive products, and accurately match packing slips to invoices.
- Manage the paint/stain sample process.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing efficiency.

**What You’ll Bring to the Team**:

- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in manufacturing or construction).
- Knowledge of sheet goods & cabinetry components (preferred)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and purchasing software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is an asset.
- Strong computer skills required.
