The Meeting Event Specialist will work collaboratively with the Issuer Services Registry/Front Office teams and other business units to meet the client’s Meeting and/or Mailing requirements. They will assume responsibility for assigned files and handle their execution in accordance with processes, time frames, regulatory requirement and guidelines.

The Meeting Event Specialist will work closely with the Relationship Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure all meeting tasks are reviewed and actioned in order to meet strict deadlines and service delivery levels. You will bring your passion for client service, product innovation, product growth and program execution to this critical role. Your experience and drive will play a major role in the ongoing development of this market and Computershare’s solution delivery.
**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:
- Receives job instructions via RADAR from Relationship Manager and schedules jobs.
- Review and update the Householding flag to SCRIP, as requested to eliminate the mailing of a proxy statement and annual report, which results in a cost-saving feature for our clients.
- Handles complex processing jobs, such as e-consent, householding, and special extract accounts.
- Attends adhoc meetings as needed with all areas (programming, design, operations, account management, etc.) to ensure schedules are on track and determine any potential scheduling issues before they occur.
- Tabulates incoming proxy vote including the registered vote (by mail, phone and internet), the street vote, and the plan vote (if applicable). Responsible for the more complex issues.
- Tracks timely receipt of Broadridge and DTC files.
- Processes and reconciles incoming Broadridge files.
- Reports vote counts to internal administrators and external plan trustees.
- Enters system parameters to create various proxy related reports.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

**Required**:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experienced in dealing with conflicting priorities and managing expectations.
Experienced in adapting style to influence a range of stakeholders.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
PC skills - proficient in all aspects of MS Office.
Strong numeracy skills.
Strong team player.
Knowledge of Proxy voting.
Ability to contribute to a dynamic team-based environment.
Ability to work autonomously, navigating through complexity and ambiguity.
Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices.
Detailed understanding of Client Annual and Special meeting requirements.
Understanding online event hosting solutions would be an advantage.
Ability to identify and quantify risks, controls, value add and other key process components.
