This Data Analyst & BI Specialist role provides data and analytical support to corporate and site marketing leaders. **What You Bring**
- 2+ years of analytical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Undergraduate degree in either Statistics, Business Analysis, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to take and pass the practical test on data extraction (SQL), data manipulation (R) and analysis.
- Strong analytical and programming skills, including (but not limited to) data manipulation, statistical analytics and visualization.
- Demonstrate proficiency in working with large datasets using programming, and proven track record of producing data-driven insights to support business initiatives.
- Proficient in data extraction skills, including SQL programming and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficient in statistical language R for data manipulation and analysis, with experience in packages including tidyverse, dplyr, ggplot and lubridate. Development/working experience utilizing DBI, rmarkdown, plotly, gt, devtools/usethis etc is optional but preferred.
- Experience in BI development, including building the data source from corporate data warehouse and develop scalable reports using Tableau.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Preference for knowledge with project-oriented workflow in RStudio and modern software collaboration tools (Git and Github).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Willingness to learn, capable of understanding new concepts and mastering new skills quickly
- Understanding of casino and/or hospitality environments is optional

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assists the corporate marketing team, develop and execute direct marketing projects / data extraction to achieve the company’s objectives regarding revenue, profitability, market share, and customer base.
- Supports business, corporate and property leaders by providing reporting and analysis. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to provide sound basis for strategic business decisions.
- Examines marketing promotions and programs to identify opportunities to improve ROI, customer engagement and retention.
- Analyzes customers behavior and recommends changes to marketing offers, promotions and programs in collaboration with the marketing team
- Regularly distill large amounts of data into actionable recommendations and presentations for management.
- Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data sets
- Drives innovative approaches to marketing analysis and data-driven decision making
- Performs other duties as required.
