**About Us**:
Super 8 is a welcoming and well-established hotel known for its clean, comfortable accommodations and outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help ensure that our facilities continue to meet the high standards our guests expect.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests
- Complete minor repairs including painting, drywall, carpentry, lighting, and furniture
- Monitor and maintain pool and hot tub (if applicable) including water testing and chemical balancing
- Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety and fire codes
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
- Ensure maintenance areas are clean, organized, and safe

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is an asset
- **Previous experience in building or hotel maintenance required**:

- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
