**About Us**

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as Production Worker Trainee. This entry-level position offers insight and the ability to develop skills in boiler manufacturing, welding, and pressure vessel fabrication. Successful trainees will have the opportunity to advance into roles such as Boiler Technician and/or Pressure Welder. This position falls under the Boilermakers Union Local 555.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of boilers and pressure vessels under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including iron worker, torches, forklift, cranes, drill press.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform basic welding tasks and assist in the installation of various components.
- Participate in quality control inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Support the maintenance and repair of equipment and tools.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in mechanical work and the manufacturing process.
- Basic knowledge of welding and metalworking tools is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

**Training and Advancement Opportunities**

As a Production Worker Trainee, you will receive hands-on training in various aspects of boiler manufacturing, including:

- Boiler assembly and fabrication techniques.
- Pressure vessel design and construction.
- Welding and metalworking skills.
- Quality control and inspection processes.
- Safety protocols and industry standards.

Throughout your tenure you may be eligible to pursue certification as a Boilermaker through the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC). This includes opportunities for Red Seal certification, recognized across Canada.
