Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials efficiently and effectively throughout the GTA. Your excellent communication skills and ability to analyze data to problem solve will make you an asset to the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods
- Coordinate and schedule shipments, considering factors such as delivery deadlines and available resources
- Manage truck drivers' schedules and routes
- Monitor the progress of shipments and provide updates to stakeholders as needed
- Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Utilize phone systems and other communication tools to relay important information to drivers
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatching activities using TMS software

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a dispatching or logistics role (Min 2 years)
- Knowledge of trucking regulations and laws
- Analytical skills needed to problem-solve and address difficult situations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems
- Must have excellent geographical knowledge of the GTA

Hours of work will be 8am to 6pm with a 1 hour lunch.
