**The Role**
All employees at the Montreal Site are responsible and held accountable for achieving compliance with our EHS procedures and policies.

Employees are responsible for, but not limited to knowing the equipment and process operation; handle, store, and transport chemical material; manual and auto operation of the process, using field controls and computer-controlled interface systems. Run batching operations, sample and analyze plant material; respond to emergency situations, including emergency shutdown; complete plant data sheets, environmental reports, inventory sheets, forklift inspection reports, etc. as requested. Each Operator is accountable for the highest level of quality and housekeeping within their job function. Operator may / will be required to work weekends and holidays depending on the sales demands of the business and work overtime as production demands dictate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally working at elevated heights; exposed to fumes or airborne particles; chemicals (acids and bases); outside weather conditions; heat; noise and vibration.

- **Requirements**
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the chemical industry
- Forklift experience preferred
- Applicants need to have strong reading (French), math and technical skills, and the ability to qualify on various processes and equipment in a dynamic and complex chemical manufacturing environment.

Les employés sont responsables, mais sans s'y limiter, de connaître l'équipement et le fonctionnement du processus ; manipuler, entreposer et transporter des matières chimiques ; le fonctionnement manuel et automatique du processus, à l'aide de commandes sur le terrain et de systèmes d'interface contrôlés par ordinateur. Exécuter des opérations de traitement par lots, échantillonner et analyser le matériel végétal ; intervenir en cas d'urgence, y compris la fermeture d'urgence ; remplir les fiches techniques de l'usine, les rapports environnementaux, les feuilles d'inventaire, les rapports d'inspection des chariots élévateurs à fourche, etc., sur demande. Chaque exploitant est responsable du plus haut niveau de qualité et d'entretien ménager dans le cadre de sa fonction. L'opérateur peut / sera tenu de travailler les week-ends et les jours fériés en fonction des demandes de vente de l'entreprise et de faire des heures supplémentaires selon les exigences de production dictent.

Capacité de lire et d'interpréter des documents tels que des règles de sécurité, des instructions d'utilisation, des formules et des manuels de procédures. Capacité de communiquer efficacement par les voies verbales et écrites. Capacité d'appliquer la compréhension de bon sens pour exécuter des instructions écrites ou orales détaillées.

Dans l'exercice de ses fonctions, l'employé doit se tenir debout, marcher, s'asseoir et grimper ou s'équilibrer. L'employé doit régulièrement soulever et /ou déplacer jusqu'à 25 livres, fréquemment soulever et / ou déplacer jusqu'à 50 livres.

Dans l'exercice de ses fonctions, l'employé est fréquemment exposé à des conditions humides et/ou humides et à des pièces mécaniques en mouvement. L'employé travaille occasionnellement à des hauteurs élevées ; exposé à des fumées ou à des particules en suspension dans l'air ; produits chimiques (acides et bases) ; les conditions météorologiques extérieures ; la chaleur ; bruit et vibrations.
