**Parts & Service Specialist**

Join our Growing Team Thomas Buick GMC Ltd is seeking a **Parts & Service Specialist** to join our team.

The Parts & Service Specialist will assist in both the Parts & Service departments on a daily basis. We are seeking a customer centric individual who is passionate about building relationships with our customers.

**Job Duties**:

- Work with customers to understand their needs.
- Work with customers to answer questions or concerns.
- Ensure that customer vehicles are adequately cared for and keep the customer updated on the progress of their repairs.
- Complete a follow up to ensure that customers have no additional questions about the repair of their vehicle.
- Efficiently help customers select parts and provide internal and external customers (retail and shop) with high quality service.
- Answer telephone calls indicate prices and provide information.
- Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts.
- Receive payments from retail customers.
- Handle customer complaints according to the dealership’s guidelines.
- Organize orders for shipping and delivery.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Ability to problem solve and high attention to detail.
- Computer skills and understanding of technology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Customer relationship skills including listening and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
- Ability to follow set and standard procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed.
- Ability to work independently and take self-initiative.
- Driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs.
- Experience with GM product considered an asset.
