Bilingual Social Worker - iCBT Therapist

Anywhere in the province of Quebec (remote)

Permanent, Full-time

Summary

iCBT is internet-based CBT guided by a professional therapist through a digital platform. After an initial assessment conducted over the phone or through video, the therapist assigns a program to the client and monitors their answers as they progress through the modules. Telephone or video contacts with the client may be required from time to time, as well as some written exchanges.

How you will help:

- Contact individuals to develop and document an understanding of their condition;
- Assess risk and severity with the use of tests;
- Provide following intervention when required: more in-depth assessment, referrals to other resources or services;
- Provide administrative follow-up of case files using the provided clinical models.

What you need to start making a difference:

- Master's degree in Social Work or Ph.D. or equivalent in Psychology;
- Registration with Quebec College of Social Workers or College of Psychologists is mandatory;
- Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory;
- Minimum two years post-graduate counselling experience with an adult population;
- Experience using a CBT approach;
- Ability to handle crisis or high risk situations;
- Excellent computer skills (telephone and video-conference platforms);
- Reliable high speed internet access is required.

Where permitted by law, company employees must be fully immunized to access a TELUS Health or LifeWorks office or customer premises.
