Working at the Inuulitsivik Health Center (IHC) means being part of a dedicated team that strives to improve the health, well-being, and living conditions of Inuit communities through accessible and integrated services. The IHC employs over 1,100 staff members and is part of the Quebec health and social services network, in the Nunavik region. It offers health and social services to a population of 8,000 people across 7 communities in the Hudson Bay area, from Kuujjuarapik to Salluit. IHC also manages Ullivik, a service located in Dorval that provides accommodation for Inuit traveling south to receive specialized care.

IHC is currently seeking a social work technician to work in the villages along the Hudson Bay coast with the communities. Working in youth protection at IHC plays a key role in improving the situation of children, youth in difficulty, and their families. **Employment Conditions - Social Work Technician - Northern Regions - Hudson Bay Coast Villages**

Salaries:

- Between $27.01 and $38.87 per hour, based on experience.

Northern premiums and other employment conditions:

- Relocation premium (without dependents): between $221.92 and $261.79 per week, or between $391.18 and $461.52 (with dependents) per week, depending on the village.
- Retention premium (health and social services technicians and professionals): between $139.13 and $272.48 per week, depending on the village and seniority.
- Retention premium (office staff, technicians, and administration professionals): between $34.78 and $272.48 per week, depending on education level, village, and seniority.
- Retention premium (technical, auxiliary, and skilled trades staff): between $34.78 and $68.13 per week, depending on the village and seniority.
- Skilled workers premium: 15%, if applicable.
- High cost of living premium: between $58.40 and $188.72 per week, depending on the village.
- Reimbursement of airfare for 3 or 4 trips per year.

- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the Youth Protection Act and protection concepts.

Academic Requirements:

- A relevant diploma: specialized education technique, social work technique, delinquency intervention technique.
