**Job Title**: Trading Systems Analyst (Technical)

**Direct Report**: Trading Systems Manager

**We are looking for**:
A technically motivated and well-versed individual, ideally having some experience within the Sportsbook Industry or a strong passion for sports intricacies and/or statistics. This individual would leverage their general technical aptitude for various skills; SQL, Splunk/ELK, Azure Log Analysis, or equivalent facility with query languages to enable and enhance team member initiatives and support operations within Pinnacle’s various trading environments.

The primary role objective is to ensure the successful operation and processing of improvements within the purview of Pinnacle’s trading system environments. A secondary objective is to absorb and understand the ins and outs of the sportsbook domain to best support colleagues during key sportsbook events. This position utilizes a flexible scheduling environment which may also require working one day on the weekend and having one day off during the week to achieve effective coverage during such priority sporting industry events.

The Trading Systems team at Pinnacle is a multinational cross-disciplined group that engages in frequent interactions across many departments and areas of expertise within Pinnacle as well as the broader sportsbook industry. **Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for ensuring trading systems are operating as expected
- Liaise with trading and development/RnD, when business requires new products, and bring them online
- Interact with trading and development departments when handling and following up on trading issues
- Expand the scope of products handled by the trading systems
- Capture trading operational needs and translate them into actionable items.
- Assess and prioritize trading issues based on urgency and importance

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong analytic, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to facilitate coordination between Operational and Technological teams
- Flexibility and adaptability to business requirements and priority changes
- Ability to prioritize and work on several different projects simultaneously
- Initiative to work independently but also work effectively with team members

**Desirable Knowledge & Experience**:

- Degree or Diploma in Science or Economics
- Experience using ticket systems like JIRA, Zendesk
- SQL knowledge
- Experience with general query language enabled log indexing systems such as Splunk or ELK
- Experience from Sports Betting or Trading
- Grafana knowledge a bonus
