**Job Title**: Maintenance Worker - Gravel Pit Operations

**Job Overview**:
This role may require working Saturdays and up to 60 hours per week, with a typical schedule from **6 AM to 6 PM**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wash plants, dry screening equipment, conveyors, crushers, and other machinery.
- Conduct small welding and fabrication work to repair or reinforce equipment as needed.
- Inspect and maintain heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and haul trucks to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report issues to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions to production.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Assist with general labor duties as needed.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in maintenance within a gravel pit, mining, or similar industrial setting.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong mechanical abilities, welding & fabricating an asset, operating heavy equipment,
- **Equipment Knowledge**: Familiarity with wash plants, dry screening equipment, and heavy machinery.
- **Work Ethic**: Strong commitment to attendance, reliability, and following through on tasks.
- **Teamwork & Independence**: Ability to work well with others but also take initiative and complete tasks independently.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 55 per week
