**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate snow plow trucks and other snow removal equipment to clear snow and ice from roads and parking areas.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, minor repairs, and necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for snow removal tasks.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and supervisors.
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing situations to ensure public safety.
- Dig out areas as necessary to facilitate effective snow removal.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks as needed during non-winter months, including irrigation setup and garden upkeep.

**Qualifications**
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating heavy machinery or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices is a plus, including the ability to build, irrigate, and maintain gardens.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues on-site.
- Ability to work in harsh weather conditions for extended periods.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
