Security Compliance Coordinator

We are seeking a **Security Compliance Coordinator** to join our team and ensure the implementation and maintenance of security standards and regulatory requirements within our organization. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our company’s security, protecting against security breaches, theft and ensuring our compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain a security compliance program that encompasses both information security and physical security domains, aligning with industry best practices and applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities across the organization's infrastructure and physical premises.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement appropriate security controls and measures to mitigate identified risks and ensure compliance with standards.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines ensuring they are aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of physical security operations and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper incident reporting and response protocols are in place,
- Manage security vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and compliance oversight, as applicable.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively identify potential risks and recommend appropriate preventive measures for physical and information security.
- Provide guidance and support to various teams within the organization, including HR, facilities, IT, and compliance, regarding security-related matters.
- Maintain records and documentation related to security compliance activities, incident reports, and audit findings.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in security compliance, risk management and security awareness programs.
- Knowledge of security technologies, access control systems, and CCTV surveillance is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and security contractors.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
