Our Materials Group is looking for an individual to fill an equipment operator position at the Tatlock Quarry location. The primary role of this individual will be to operate a 775 CAT Rock Truck. There will also be opportunities for some groundwork when required.

**Schedule**: Monday-Friday 55-60 hours a week.

**Job Location**: Tatlock Quarry (177 McIlraith Rd, Clayton ON), plus possibility of travel to other sites.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operate a Rock Truck to move, load and unload material.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Report any maintenance concerns with the equipment to supervisor.
- Understand ground disturbance challenges while operating.
- Comply and enforce the company’s environmental, health and safety policies.
- Coordinates truck activities with the excavator and other truck operators.
- Able to work independently in a busy environment.

**EDUCATION, REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Must have valid G driver’s license
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently and in a safe manner.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working well with others.
- Minimum of 1 year equipment operation experience is required.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Long periods of sitting
- Noisy environment
- Rough (bumpy) driving conditions
- Typical workday is 10-12 hours
- Must be available to work evening and weekends.
