NorLand Limited has an exciting opportunity for a new team member to fill the position of Warehouse Assistant in Burnaby, BC. In this position, you will be responsible for materials handling, purchasing, inventory management and warehouse organizing.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Schedule and conduct pick up and deliveries from sites and vendors in the lower mainland.
- Manage daily warehouse operations by checking, maintaining, and ordering supplies and parts.
- Pack skids and stock shelving
- Maintain small tools and track repairs.
- Stay current with industry, customer, and product developments and best practices
- Work in a safe manner, comply with safety policies, and identify and report any unsafe work practices.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years’ experience in purchasing and warehousing (i.e., organization, WHMIS & SDS).
- Inventory experience managing 800+ SKUs.
- Knowledge of basic construction small tools & fittings.
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
- Forklift license and First Aid level 1 an asset
- Valid class 5 driver’s license that does not include any restrictions that would affect the ability to carry out job responsibilities legally and safely. A driver’s abstract will be requested.
- Comfortable driving trucks in tight areas.
- Ability to lift over 50lbs.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices and experience with ERP systems.
- Honest, reliable, punctual, and positive with a willingness to contribute within a team environment.
- Excellent communications and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime from time to time if required.
