**Clean Harbors** is currently looking for an experienced** Health and Safety Representative** to join their Ontario and Eastern Teams.

This role is responsible for travelling to various client sites throughout Eastern Canada to provide complete, thorough, and professional health, safety support for projects.

- Coach team members to further enhance their safety responsibility and performance.
- Foster and maintain positive client and Clean Harbors operational relationships.
- Boots on the ground, in the field in all weather conditions - 85% in the field
- Audit performance and compliance with Health & Safety policies, programs, and procedures.
- Conduct incident investigations.
- Conduct safety meetings on topics designed to promote a better understanding of company Health & Safety policies, programs, procedures, or general Health & Safety
- Conduct site inspections and audits to assure compliance with Corporate Health & Safety policies, programs, procedures and guidelines, and proper work practices needed to maintain a safe and healthy operation and work site.
- Minimum of 5 years Health and Safety experience within an industrial setting
- NCSO designation required
- OH&S certification or Provincial equivalent is an asset
- Class 5 driver's license is required;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to travel throughout Ontario and Newfoundland as well as other areas Canada.
