**This position is seasonal, full-time, working a minimum of 30 hours per week. Overtime and weekends may be required depending on the crop.**

Clean and Sanitize all grading line equipment including but not inclusive as required in a daily, weekly and monthly basis such as: conveyors and frames, rollers, drains, grader cups, floors, chutes, work tables, scales, greenhouse and packhouse clippers, boxmaker and cords, overhead lights/fixtures/fans and high beams/frames/walls. Remove cobwebs and stickers from the machines and conveyors

Launder linens daily at Delta I and Delta II sites.Maintain cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of staff and the public.

**SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS**:

- In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

**OTHER DUTIES**
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Village Farms International, Inc. from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

**SAFETY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The Company will provide the required PPE. Employees will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly to your Supervisor.
- Work will be performed in all types of hazardous environments, noisy as well as dusty environments, all of which require the use of PPE.

**QUALIFICATION STANDARDS**:
**EDUCATION**
- Equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities

**EXPERIENCE**
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.

**LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES**
- First Aid Level 1 is an asset.
